Tamil grammar in silicon

Tamil has had written grammars for about two thousand years. This series asks whether they are precise enough to run on a chip: whether the forms of a Tamil noun, மரம் becoming மரத்தில் and மரங்கள், can be computed from the verses of Tolkāppiyam and Naṉṉūl, with nothing stored. Nouns first.

  1. Part 1 · Nouns as verses, and one bit operation
Tamil noun declension as verses, and one bit operation that computes மரங்கள் from மரம் and கள் using place of articulation from Tolkāppiyam.
  2. Part 2 · How a stem meets its ending, and what is on the chip
How a Tamil noun stem meets its case ending, the Naṉṉūl and Tolkāppiyam verses behind each step, and what the FPGA does.

Everything is at github.com/Ramaseshanr/tamil-grammar-silicon. If you know Tolkāppiyam or Naṉṉūl, or work on Tamil computation, please check the readings and tell me where they are wrong.
